Founded in 2020, I started Busted Lens to fill a void I saw in the area. Athletes put in so much time, sweat, tears, etc., but all too often they don’t have anything to remember their athletic years. Sure they might get a picture or two in the local paper over the years, or might get a chance photographer at an event here or there. But those don’t add up to much.
I have covered all different levels of athletics; from Youth, Junior High, High School, College and professional athletes. Everyone deserves to be showcased! Over the years I have shot all kinds of sports and I’m always looking to try something new. While I do consider my specialty to be action photography, I always am available for Sportraits, Senior Pics, Families, and more.
I care about what I do, and I believe that shows in my work. I have built relationships with athletes and families over the years because of my passion for this profession. Along with photography, I do graphic design work and a bit of writing. I started a series I call ‘Next Level Alert’ for high school athletes continuing their athletic careers in college. Why choose Busted Lens for your game or event?![❓]()
If I cover a game, I’m there for its entirety, I don’t show up and bolt by halftime. You get action shots, candid moments, crowd pix, pretty much anything going on there, I try and capture.
Do I get it all? No. Will I take the most breath-taking photos you’ve ever seen? No. Will you get your money’s worth and them some? I like to think YES! My clients will have literally hundreds of shots from a game/event. The photos posted on social media represent a fraction of the total shots I get from a game.
I conduct myself professionally too, I don’t get out on the court/field/diamond, etc. and get in the athletes way. Nor do I try and take their attention away from their task at hand, they are there for a reason and so am I. Now you may be asking….
Become a Client
Becoming a client means I will come to a game/event that your athlete is competing in and capture photos of JUST THEM. Why spend time scrolling through albums on Facebook, only to find 1 or 2 of your athlete. Become a Busted Lens client and you’ll have photos of YOUR ATHLETE and only your athlete. Junior High, JV, Varsity, it doesn’t matter, I will get shots of your athlete for you to have and enjoy! Don’t fret over trying to get good photos with your phone or your digital camera, just sit and enjoy watching your athlete and let me do capture moments and memories. I have three tiers of client coverage; 5 photos for $40, 10 photos for $70 or multiple game photos for $100. These prices are per/sport, so if you have an athlete in Volleyball, Wrestling and Track and want the 10 photo package for each sport, it would be a total of $210.
